Community Involvement
A leader in her community, Ms. Levenson is a graduate of Leadership Broward (Class XXIV). She has been involved in a leadership role in number of professional and community organizations and was recognized by the American Business Women's Association as the Philanthropist Leader of the Year in 2009. Ms. Levenson is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) The Human Resource Association of Broward County (HRABC), The American Business Women's Association and The Business and Professional Women's Association.
Ms. Levenson founded the Office Depot Disaster Relief Foundation in 1992 and served as President for 7 years. She has served as a Board Member of The Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, INROADS South Florida, The Broward Education Foundation, The Alliance for Families with Deaf Children and The Ryder Elementary Charter School. Ms. Levenson has also served as a Take Stock in Children Mentor since 1999 and as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for more than a dozen years. Ms. Levenson was awarded the Thanks Badge, the highest Volunteer Recognition granted by Girl Scouts of America in recognition of her leadership and fundraising initiatives.
Ms. Levenson is a licensed Health, Life and Annuities Agent in the State of Florida. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Communications, with a Mass Media minor, from the State University of New York at Albany. |
